Jonathan is an amazing young man that I was blessed to meet several years ago when tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center. Because of my Special Education background- I was able to tutor him and we began our friendship.
Jonathan was born with Cerebral Palsy, which limits his ability to care for his own basic needs. He has trouble communicating verbally, and is confined to a wheelchair. His muscles are always tight- which causes him pain quite a lot of the time. This hasn’t stopped this incredible guy! His mind works better than most! And, to prove it, Jonathan went on to graduate high school and then went to college- earning a degree!

Because of his limitations- he depends on others for his daily care. Right now, his parents are his primary caregivers- but Jonathan, in his infinate wisdom, knows that as they age his care is becoming more difficult. He also knows, like most adults, he wants to be able to live on his own. That is where Angels will come in! We will provide Jonathan and those like him the opportunity to relieve their parents from the need for constant care. But, more importantly- we will give Jonathan the opportunity to be his OWN MAN!
